Terms and Conditions of the Loyalty Program: SuperCard – The Movies

1. Overview

The Movies Aruba and Curaçao Loyalty Program, known as SuperCard, is designed to reward our frequent customers with exclusive benefits. Participation in this program implies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

🎬 The SuperCard lets you earn points, enjoy discounts, and receive exclusive perks—just for coming to The Movies!

2. Point Accumulation

  • Points are earned on purchases made at the box office, concessions, online, and on gift cards.
  • Bronze & Silver: Earn 5% of your purchase back in points
  • Gold: Earn 7% of your purchase back in points
  • Example:
    • A Silver member spends 40 AWG → earns 2 points
    • A Gold member spends 40 AWG → earns 2.8 points

3. Point Redemption

Points can be redeemed at a fixed rate of 1 point = 1 florin (AWG).

Example: A customer with 25 points can redeem them for a 25 AWG discount on their next purchase. Redemption is available for eligible purchases at the box office and concession stands. Partial payment with points is allowed.

4. Point Validity

  • All points, including promotional points, are valid for two (2) years from the date they are earned.
  • Points expire on the last day of the month, two years after the date of accumulation.
  • Points earned before July 1, 2025 will be reassigned a new two-year validity starting from that date.

5. Categories and Categorization

Customers are placed into three categories based on qualifying points:

  • Bronze: 0 to 13 points
  • Silver: 14 to 60 points
  • Gold: 61 or more points

Example – Upgrade: Customer earns 16 points by June → upgraded to Silver through Dec 31, 2026.

Example – Recategorization: Points reset Jan 1, 2026. If only 10 points earned in 2026 → Bronze starting Jan 2027.

6. Category Benefits

  • Bronze: 1 birthday ticket (Comfort), standard accumulation
  • Silver: 2 birthday tickets (Comfort), 10% concession discount, Combo 1 after 4 visits, standard accumulation
  • Gold: 2 birthday tickets (VIP), 15% concession discount, Combo 1 after 3 visits, enhanced accumulation

7. Benefit Conditions

  • Birthday Tickets: Valid only during birthday month
  • Free Combo 1: Activated after required visits; redeem within 30 days
  • All benefits are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and require physical SuperCard

8. Promotional Rules

  • The Movies may offer promotional periods (e.g., double/triple points)
  • Promotional points follow same expiry as regular points
  • Promo points do not count toward category upgrades
  • No points earned on purchases paid with points

9. Membership Enrollment

  1. At The Movies Counter: Register and receive a physical SuperCard
  2. Online: Register on the website, then visit the counter with ID to collect card

📌 A physical SuperCard is required to earn and redeem points.

🔄 Lost or Damaged Cards: Visit customer service with ID to receive a replacement.

10. Account Access and Reports

  • Total point balance
  • Points redeemed and expired
  • Qualifying credits (for status)
  • Current category

Internal reports are used to analyze trends, benefit usage, and category behavior.

11. General Provisions

  • Membership is free and does not expire
  • The Movies reserves the right to update Terms and Conditions with notice
  • Misuse of the program may result in deactivation or benefit loss
  • Customer data is stored securely and used solely for program purposes
